Who we are

Altera Consulting is the data controller for personal data submitted through alteraconsulting.se. You can reach us at info@alteraconsulting.se for any question about this policy or your data.

What we collect

When you use our contact form we collect the name, company, email address, phone number and message you choose to provide. We do not collect special categories of personal data, and we do not ask you to.

Our hosting infrastructure also processes standard technical information such as IP address and browser type in order to serve and secure the site.

Why we use it and on what basis

We use your details solely to respond to your enquiry and to follow up on a possible engagement. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering business enquiries, and where relevant, steps taken at your request prior to entering a contract.

We do not sell your data and we do not use it for marketing without your explicit consent.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are stored for up to 24 months so that we can follow up on ongoing conversations, after which they are deleted. Data relating to a signed engagement is kept for as long as required by accounting and contractual obligations.

Who processes it

Your data is stored with our hosting and database provider and sent by email to our own mailbox. These providers act as processors on our instructions and may process data within and outside the EU/EEA under appropriate safeguards.

Cookies

This website uses only cookies and local storage that are strictly necessary for the site to function and to remember your cookie choice. We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not run third-party tracking or profiling.

If we ever introduce analytics or marketing cookies, we will ask for your consent before they are set, and you will be able to withdraw it at any time.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the processing of your personal data, to object to processing based on legitimate interest, and to data portability. Contact info@alteraconsulting.se and we will respond within one month.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority — in Sweden, Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten (IMY).
